Online privacy policy

How EasyRate collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information.

Safeguarding your privacy is important to us. This Online Privacy Policy explains how EasyRatecollects, uses, shares, and protects nonpublic personal information (“NPI”) obtained through this website in connection with providing mortgage-related services. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality of your information and to comply with applicable federal and state privacy requirements.

Information we collect

1. Information you provide directly

Includes information submitted through email inquiries, phone conversations, or our online loan application. Examples: name, address, phone, email, Social Security Number, employment details, income, and other financial information.

This website does not host a contact form and does not collect personal information directly through any page on easyratemortgages.com. Information reaches us when you choose to call or email us, or when you complete our online loan application — see below.

2. Our online loan application (hosted by a third party)

The “Apply now” links on this site do not submit information to this website. They take you to our secure online loan application (Uniform Residential Loan Application, Form 1003), which is hosted by a third-party provider, my1003app, on a website separate from this one. Before you are taken there, we will tell you that you are leaving the EasyRate website.

Information you enter into that application — including sensitive information such as your Social Security Number, income, assets, and employment history — is collected by that provider on our behalf and is handled under that provider’s terms and privacy policy as well as this one. We receive that information in order to evaluate and process your loan inquiry. We encourage you to review the provider’s privacy policy before submitting information.

3. Information about your transactions with us

Includes loan inquiry details, application information, account history, and communication records.

4. Information from third parties

Includes information from credit reporting agencies, employers, financial institutions, and service providers for verification and eligibility assessment.

5. Website and technical information

Includes IP address, device type, browser details, pages viewed, and interactions with the site. Used to secure and improve the website.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Observability to understand how the site is used and to monitor its performance and reliability. These tools collect aggregated information such as pages viewed, referring sites, general location, device and browser type, and page load timing. They do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party tracking technologies for behavioral advertising. Browser settings may be used to control cookies, though disabling them may impact site function.
